Landa Park

If you've never been to Landa Park in New Braunfels and had a ride on the train, you should!  It's one of Tatum's favorites, so we try to go about once a month.  She discovers something new and loves it more each time.  This particular trip she enjoyed waving at all the kids who were playing on the playgrounds, holding tight to her train tickets, quacking at the ducks, and pointing out the "choo choo train BIG" that she could see on the nearby tracks.

Tubby Time

Our dear friends the Morleys had their electricity go out at their home when it was the absolute coldest this winter. We saw this as the perfect opportunity for a sleep over! I think it was about 40 in their home the last day they tried to tough it out. NOT fun (I would die) and definitely NOT FUN with a toddler too.

We aired up the air mattress for Carmen and Phil and busted out the pack-n-play for Harper. Tatum was beside herself that "Haw-pah" was spending the night. I don't think the kids went to bed before 9:30 or 10 both nights they were here.  Jumping on an air mattress was just too much fun.  (I'm going to have to remember that when I need to wear her out a little!)

Unfortunate circumstances, but we had a blast. Here's a few pictures of the kids' first co-ed tubby. :) What is it about naked babies that just multiplies when there is more than one?

PS- The water is blue thanks to some color fizz drop things I found at Target.  Tatum LOVES them and the work like magic to get her into the tub when she's not in the mood and fighting it.  She always runs to the bathroom yelling, "Cuh-duh!" (color)

Hallettsville, TX

Back in January we traveled South to Hallettsville to enjoy their National Championship Parade and spend some time with Zach's friend and work-partner, Kevin, and his family.

Thanks to my ongoing Blogger/picture issues, I won't be commenting after each picture. Here's a rundown of the weekend:

We played in a community park while we waited for the parade to start and then enjoyed several burnt orange vehicles sporting their Longhorn pride. That's the mayor's hay truck that Kevin's dad and he painted just for the parade. Kevin's MOM is sporting the splits on top. How do you like that? :)

Tatum was scared to death of the gigantic tractors on Kevin's property, but loved the hay and hanging out with "Wevin".

Merry Christmas in March!

OK, so since it's MARCH and I still have these lingering Christmas posts.... I'm going to just post them and move on.

I have been frustrated with Blogger lately since when I download pictures and then go to write the actual post, my pictures don't appear as pictures. Instead, they are gibberish.... HTML maybe? I have no clue, but it's supremely annoying as I have to "post" the post to see the pictures and then go back and edit in my comments. So, blogging hasn't been the easiest and friendliest to me lately. Sorry!

Here are a few from Christmas. Hopefully the pictures will tell their own story...
