Ohio

At the beginning of June, my parents, Tatum, and I went to Ohio for my goddaughter's high school graduation.  She graduated first in her class!  Go Elizabeth!!

Tatum and I hadn't been to Ohio since she was 4 months old, so it was awesome to see her reaction to everyone and everything.  Plus, it was fun to show her off :)  She was a complete doll the entire trip.

We stayed in Cleveland at my Aunt Julie and Uncle Jim's house, but made a day trip down to Kent to see the rest of the family.

We blew lots of bubbles.  Who could resist running in that grass?  It's like carpet!

Tatum had her first corn ON the cob.  She loved it.

My cousin's guinea pigs were quite the hit.  Tatum enjoyed helping feed them their lettuce, carrots, and grapes.

Tatum sat with Gramma for most of the graduation ceremony.

Elizabeth is in the white dress in the picture below.  She'll be attending Notre Dame in the fall.

The Leonards: Uncle Jim, Matthew, Elizabeth, Scotty, and Aunt Julie.  Matthew will be a sophomore next year and Scotty will be in 8th grade.  Aunt Julie is my mom's youngest sister.

On Sunday, we traveled down to Kent for a Kirkland Family Picnic.  This is a picture of a few cousins and all the cousins' kids.  Talk about multiplying!!

After the picnic, we headed to our favorite two places in town... Swenson's and Stoddard's.  Yummmmmmmmmmm! (Think Sonic and TCBY, but SO MUCH BETTER.)  I can remember trips when we've gone to at least one of the every day we were there...

On our last night in Ohio, we went to a Cleveland Indians game.  My uncle has awesome season tickets, the weather was gorgeous, and Tatum began her love affair with Slider, the mascot, and Mustard.  Mustard is one of three condiments who have a race between innings.  The other two are Ketchup and Onion.  It was love at first sight with Mustard though and she must have asked us where he was about 100 times after the race.
