Wimberley's Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July!!

Our favorite tradition is Wimberley's Fourth of July Parade. Nothing screams small town charm like it! As we've learned from past years, park a car in the perfect shady spot the night before, park close to the square before the road closes the morning of and ENJOY from the back of your pick up (aka Tatum's holding pen). We find this plan works like a charm!

Of course Tatum attended wearing beads. She laughed, waved, clapped, and danced to the music and overall I think she thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. I'm so excited for years to come. Hopefully one year we can even enter the parade... maybe it Dada's Charger or Scout?

We parked next to our neighbors, the Scotts, and some more friends, so there was PLENTY candy-grabbing action!

Yay for the Wimberley Volunteer Fire Department! It will be a blast riding in one of their trucks when Tatum is a little older and can really appreciate it!

Here are the Rigby-Cockles, including Paxton, having fun with us. Their smiling faces don't let on AT ALL that it was a record setting 104 that day!

Please see the following post for more pictures!!
