I think this picture is my current favorite of my girly and me.
She is just SO happy, all the time.
Our friends Carmen and Phil recently finished a summer-long project of getting a slab poured for a future work shop. Phil is a wood craftsman and makes GORGEOUS furniture. They did most of the work themselves, so we celebrated with a Slab Party on Labor Day.
Around Wimberley, smooth surfaces to ride bikes, Cozy Coupes, tricycles, tractors, etc are hard to find! Our yards are rocky and uneven, our streets too country and bumpy, and driveways... well, let's just say most are gravel, if you're lucky.
A fresh slab is definitely something to be excited about, especially for the kids.
Our dirty bird (look at those legs!) enjoyed the ice cream, sans spoon, immensely.
